The Nonequilibrium Quantum Workshop will take place at the scenic Hotel Krvavec (Ambrož pod Krvavcem 50, 4207 Cerklje, Slovenia), nestled in the Slovenian Alps at 1600 meters altitude. Offering breathtaking mountain views and a cozy alpine atmosphere, the hotel provides the perfect backdrop for focused scientific exchange and informal networking. With direct access via cable car and comfortable on-site accommodations, Hotel Krvavec promises an inspiring setting for advancing ideas at the frontier of quantum many-body physics.

The hotel has been block-reserved for the duration of the workshop. The organisers will handle all room bookings. Due to limited capacity, the rooms in the Hotel Krvavec are reserved for invited speakers. Other participants are expected to share rooms and will be accommodated at Hotel Rozka, approximately a 20-minute walk from the workshop venue. Cable car and shuttle services are available for convenient commuting between hotels. Please inform us of any special preferences or requirements.

Additional information

Krvavec Ski Resort offers a range of winter recreational opportunities, including skiing and snowboarding. However, snow conditions during the workshop may vary. Although the resort is equipped with snow-making facilities, these operate only under favourable weather conditions, particularly sufficiently low night-time temperatures.

Participants are encouraged to come prepared with warm clothing and sturdy winter or hiking footwear, regardless of snow availability. In addition to ski rental options near the hotel, the surrounding alpine landscape boasts numerous hiking trails suitable for various skill levels.
